Summer Reading Fun

Summer is the perfect time to explore, have fun, read, and (yes) even learn new skills!

New York public libraries are planning fun virtual and in-person programs related to this year’s theme of Tails and Tales. There will be special events, reading challenges, fun activities, and more through August.

Families can check their local public library’s website to find out what exciting local events have been planned.

Teens can enter the 2021 national Teen Video Challenge for a chance to win recognition and a cash prize for creating a short video to promote libraries and Summer Reading.

🌞 Have a great summer & keep reading! 📚
