Spring 2022 Book Trailers

Our Fifth Grade students read a great selection of books this year as independent reading choices. They used an online application called Adobe Creative Cloud Express to create book trailers or short videos that introduce their books without giving away the endings.

Enjoy viewing the videos they created about their books!

Vivian recommends Measuring Up, a great graphic novel about cooking competitions, perseverance, and the importance of family.

If you’ve ever thought about inventing things, Avery recommends that you read The Art of Tinkering.

Nick read Prisoner B-3087, the incredible true story of a boy who survived being in 10 different concentration camps.

Charlie recommends Roald Dahl’s Charlie and The Chocolate Factory.

Aubree thinks you will like The Reptile Room, the 2nd book in The Series of Unfortunate Events.

Lyric recommends that you read P.S. Longer Letter Later the story of two friends that’s told through the letters that they write. 

Imagine finding out you’re from a royal family! Calder thinks you will like From the Notebooks of a Middle School Princess.

If you like creepy stories, Susan recommends reading Escape From Shudder Mansion.

Maddy recommends Allergic, a graphic novel about a girl who really wants a pet.

Do you like chocolate? Thomas thinks you will like The Chocolate Touch.

Tripp knows you will like Wonder, a great story about a very special boy.

Gianluca recommends this funny book about 2 dogs that want to help their human.

Austin’s exciting video is sure to make you want to find out what happens in Daughter of the Deep!

John recommends The Abduction, a great thriller featuring kid lawyer Theodore Boone.


Chase read Summer Ball, a great basketball book written by former ESPN commentator Mike Lupica.
